TYRESE GIBSON began his singing career in 1994 when he won a talent show at the age of 14. The win resulted in the famous Coca-Cola TV commercial, which led Tyrese to fame in modeling, singing and acting. With his self-titled debut album, Tyrese received his first Grammy nom for "Sweet Lady" and "Lately". A Watts native, he branched into a successful modeling career; he is the first and only African-American male model to land a multi-million dollar exclusive contract with Guess. He then hosted "MTV Jams", the highest rated show at that time for MTV. Thereafter, "2000 Watts", his second album, was released. In 2006, he released his third album, "Alter Ego". He has also starred in such films as "Baby Boy", "Waist Deep", and "Transformers".
